Hong Kong Pools

When you hear the name Hong Kong, shopping and dim sum may come to mind, but swimming pools? Well, it turns out that the city is loaded with picturesque pools. Whether you’re looking for a rooftop pool overlooking Victoria Harbour or one that’s hidden in the heart of the city, there’s sure to be a pool for everyone to enjoy. From the world’s highest pool to a natural infinity pool on a mountaintop, here are some of the best swimming spots in Hong Kong.

This unique outdoor pool is found on the top floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in Kowloon, and it’s a true delight to swim in. The water is crystal clear and the views of the harbor are unbeatable. The pool also comes with a jacuzzi and small plunge pool for the ultimate relaxation experience. The pool is open from early morning to late at night for anyone staying at the hotel or HP Club Members.

For something a little more luxurious, head to the Ritz Carlton’s swanky indoor pool in the International Commerce Center (which is also the tallest building in the city). The pool is located on the 118th floor and offers amazing views over Victoria Harbour and Kowloon. The pool itself is also a sight to behold, with floor to ceiling windows, mirrored walls, and LED walls that showcase an illusion of coral reefs. The Ritz Carlton’s pool is also open to guests only, but it’s definitely worth a visit!

Another swanky pool that’s only available to hotel guests is the Harbour Grand Kowloon’s breezy rooftop. This stunning pool offers spectacular views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline, as well as a spacious infinity pool, whirlpool, and bar. The rooftop is open all day for guests of the hotel and HP Club Members, so make sure to bring your sunscreen!

In case you’re not in the mood for a relaxing swim, the hotel also has a sauna and steam room. There are a few different packages available, including a spa day that includes a massage and pool access for HK$990 per person.

Although these hotel rooftop pools are incredible, they tend to be pricey. Many are only accessible if you book a hotel room or as part of an expensive spa package, while others can cost hundreds of dollars for a day pass – which kind of defeats the purpose of doing laps in the lap of luxury!
